Leveraging a robust pharmaceutical R&D foundation and system, we established our cosmetics division in 2020, introducing the KTcos® series of cosmetic raw materials. This product line boasts 12 granted patents, with five more pending approval. Among them, the production technology for KTcos® Pro-Xylane, titled “A Method for Producing High-Quality S-Configuration Pro-Xylane that is Colorless, Odorless, and Free of Borate Residue,” has been awarded a national patent. The product has passed SGS testing, confirming it as colorless, odorless, and free of borate residue, achieving industry-leading standards. In 2023, KTcos® Pro-Xylane was honored with the “China Cosmetics Association Innovation Achievement Award” and the “First Prize in Science and Technology from the China General Chamber of Commerce.” In March 2024, HANZEN PHARMA spearheaded the release of the group standard for “Hydroxypropyl Tetrahydropyrantriol as a Cosmetic Raw Material,” addressing previous challenges of low separation between main peaks and impurities. This new standard is now the most comprehensive quality benchmark for Pro-Xylane in the industry.

Another flagship product, KTcos® Ectoine, has also received a national patent for “A Recombinant Strain for Producing Ectoine and Its Construction Method and Application.” Utilizing an optimized recombinant strain as a biocatalyst for whole-cell transformation, we have significantly increased tetrahydropyrimidine yield, achieving stable and efficient ectoine synthesis.

With an annual production capacity of 1,000 tons, key projects such as Pro-Xylane, Ectoine, Tirzepatide, and Semaglutide intermediates exemplify our manufacturing excellence.
