KTcos® Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate
KTcos® Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate is a powerful active ingredient that smooths and reduces wrinkles by relaxing facial muscles. Its mechanism of action is similar to that of Waglerin-1, a neuromuscular blocking compound found in Temple Viper venom. This peptide acts as a reversible antagonist to muscle nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nmAChR) on the postsynaptic membrane.
By binding to the ε subunit of nmAChR, KTcos® Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate blocks the interaction between acetylcholine and the receptor, leading to receptor blockade. In this state, sodium ions cannot enter the cell, preventing depolarization and blocking nerve signal transmission. The result is muscle relaxation, which smooths the skin and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
