KTcos® Alpha-Arbutin
KTcos® Alpha-Arbutin, also known as 4-Hydroxyphenyl-alpha-D-glucopyranoside, is a natural skin-brightening agent derived from plants such as bearberry and cranberry. As a hydrogenated hydroquinone glycoside, it is known for its gentle, non-irritating, and hypoallergenic properties, making it an ideal ingredient for sensitive skin.
The molecular structure of alpha-arbutin contains two key functional groups: a glucose residue and a phenolic hydroxyl group. This unique structure allows KTcos® Alpha-Arbutin to effectively inhibit the production and deposition of melanin, thereby reducing the appearance of dark spots and freckles.
